Senior Security Systems Engineer

The Senior Security Systems Engineer is a key technical delivery role within SSAL's engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, commissioning, and providing technical oversight on complex surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection projects for SSAL's enterprise clients. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to SSAL's technical standards and best-practice documentation.

• Conduct site surveys and produce detailed CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm system designs (including AutoCAD drawings, cable schedules, and equipment specifications)
• Oversee and manage installation teams on complex projects, ensuring quality and schedule adherence
• Commission surveillance, access control, and alarm systems to SSAL engineering standards
• Prepare and present technical handover documentation to clients
• Troubleshoot complex system faults remotely and on-site
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the technical team
• Maintain and renew relevant brand certifications (Hikvision, ZKTeco, etc.)
• Support the pre-sales team with technical input on tender submissions and client presentations

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical qualification
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in security systems design and commissioning
• Demonstrated experience with IP CCTV systems (Hikvision or Dahua essential; Axis or Bosch advantageous)
• Demonstrated experience with biometric and card-based access control systems (ZKTeco essential)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for security system design drawings
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure requirements for IP security systems
• Active Hikvision or equivalent brand certification preferred
• Excellent written and spoken Bangla and English
