Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if an employee loses their card?
You deactivate the card in the software immediately and issue a new one. There’s no need to change locks, and the lost card can no longer open any door.

Can RFID cards be copied?
Basic 125 kHz proximity cards are easier to duplicate. Encrypted smart cards and high-security credentials are much harder to copy, so we recommend them for sensitive areas.

Can one card work for attendance, doors and the canteen?
Yes. Smart cards can support multiple uses on compatible systems, including access, attendance, staff ID and more.

Can I restrict access to certain times?
Yes. You can set schedules so users enter only on specific days and hours.

Will doors unlock during a fire?
Yes, when integrated with the fire alarm system. Doors release automatically for safe evacuation.

Can I use my phone instead of a card?
Yes, on readers that support mobile or NFC credentials.
