Overview
Hikvision iDS-2CD7A26G0/P-IZHS(Y) 2 MP ANPR IR Varifocal Bullet Camera
Every vehicle at your gate, identified and logged by plate — on the camera itself, day or night. A 2 MP DeepinView bullet camera with deep-learning license plate recognition built in. No separate ANPR server is needed. DarkFighter low-light imaging, 140 dB WDR and an IP67/IK10 housing keep it reading plates through glare, rain and darkness.

Manual gate logs miss vehicles, slow down queues and leave no reliable record when an incident needs investigating. Ordinary CCTV records the car, but at night or against headlight glare the plate is often unreadable.
The Hikvision iDS-2CD7A26G0/P-IZHS(Y) solves this at the camera. Its deep-learning ANPR engine captures and reads licence plates on board, with a recognition rate of 98% or higher on common and complex-structured plates. Each plate can be checked against an allow list or blocklist of up to 10,000 records, triggering a separate alarm, a barrier relay or a VMS event.
A 1/1.8" progressive-scan sensor with DarkFighter technology delivers color images down to 0.0005 lux, and 140 dB WDR holds detail against direct headlights and strong backlight. The motorized varifocal lens (2.8–12 mm or 8–32 mm) lets SSAL engineers frame the capture zone precisely on site, without changing hardware.
Built in an aluminum-alloy, IP67 and IK10 rated housing with a built-in heater, the camera operates from −40 °C to 60 °C. The -Y variant adds NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection plus Wiegand, RS-485 and audio interfaces for direct integration with access control and parking systems.
On-camera license plate recognition Deep-learning algorithms capture and read plates directly on the camera, with a recognition rate of ≥98%. No separate ANPR server is needed.
Allow list and blocklist control Store up to 10,000 plate records. Authorized vehicles can open a barrier through the alarm output; listed vehicles trigger an immediate alert.
Vehicle attribute detection Records vehicle type, color and brand alongside the plate, giving investigators more to search on. Motorcycle plate recognition is supported in checkpoint scenarios.
Dark Fighter low-light imaging Color imaging down to 0.0005 lux and black-and-white to 0.0001 lux, with smart IR up to 50 m (2.8–12 mm) or 100 m (8–32 mm) for 0-lux scenes.
140 dB WDR, BLC and HLC Keeps plates legible against oncoming headlights, sun glare and dark tunnel entrances. Defog, 3D DNR and EIS add clarity in rain, haze and vibration.
Motorized varifocal lens Choose 2.8–12 mm for close gates and car-park lanes, or 8–32 mm for longer approach roads. Auto focus and P-iris simplify commissioning.
Deep-learning perimeter protection Line crossing, intrusion and region entrance/exit detection, filtered by human or vehicle target type to cut false alarms.
Efficient H.265+ with 5 streams H.265+ reduces bandwidth and storage load, while five independent streams serve live view, recording and analytics at once.
Built for outdoor duty IP67 weather sealing, IK10 vandal resistance, built-in heater and −40 °C to 60 °C operating range. The -Y model adds NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection.
Open integration ONVIF Profile S, G and T, ISAPI, SDK and ISUP. Works with iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect and HikCentral, plus Wiegand output on the -Y model for access control panels.
Does the iDS-2CD7A26G0/P-IZHS(Y) need a separate ANPR server? No. Plate capture and recognition run on the camera. Plate events go straight to your NVR, VMS (such as HikCentral) or barrier controller.
Will it read Bangladeshi number plates? Recognition depends on the regional plate library in the camera firmware. SSAL verifies performance on local plates during the site survey and commissioning before handover.
What is the difference between IZHS and IZHSY? The -Y model adds audio in/out, RS-485, Wiegand output, a 12 VDC power output and NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection. Choose it for coastal sites or direct access-control integration.
Which lens should I choose: 2.8–12 mm or 8–32 mm? 2.8–12 mm suits short-range gates and car-park lanes. 8–32 mm suits longer approach roads and checkpoints. SSAL recommends the lens after measuring your site.
Can it open a boom barrier automatically? Yes. Vehicles on the allow list can trigger the camera's alarm output to open a barrier. The -Y model can also send plate data to an access control panel via Wiegand.
Does it work at night? Yes. DarkFighter technology captures color images down to 0.0005 lux, and the IR illuminator reaches 50 m (2.8–12 mm) or 100 m (8–32 mm) in total darkness.
How is it powered? By 12 VDC or PoE (IEEE 802.3at, PoE+). Use a PoE+ switch or injector rated for at least 16.8 W per port.
Is it suitable for outdoor use? Yes. It is IP67 weather sealed, IK10 vandal resistant, has a built-in heater and operates from −40 °C to 60 °C.
Why buy from SSAL
An ANPR camera only performs as well as its mounting height, angle and lighting allow. SSAL handles all of it, so the camera is tuned to read plates from the day it is commissioned.
- Survey before supply: a certified engineer checks lane width, approach distance and lighting, then recommends the right variant and lens.
- One accountable partner: survey, design, supply, installation, commissioning and post-sales AMC under a single contract.
- Integration, not just installation: we connect the camera to your boom barriers, access control, parking management and VMS, from 80+ authorized brands with zero vendor bias.
- Genuine stock, manufacturer warranty: authorized Hikvision supply with full documentation.
- 24/7 support: nationwide coverage and emergency support, backed by a group in Bangladesh's technology sector since 1998.
