Where a fixed camera covers a defined field of view, the PTZ speed dome provides command of an entire environment — panning endlessly, tilting from nadir to zenith, and zooming from wide-area overview to face-level detail in a single fluid movement. SSAL's PTZ speed dome cameras combine 36× optical zoom with AI-powered auto-tracking, ensuring that once a person of interest is identified, the camera locks on and follows automatically — even as the target moves through crowds or across large open spaces.

With 200m Smart IR illumination, the PTZ continues to deliver sharp, usable imagery in total darkness at the full extent of its tracking range. Eight programmed patrol tours, 300 stored presets, and 16 pattern recordings allow security teams to automate routine monitoring while retaining instant manual override.

Alarm-triggered PTZ slew is configurable within SSAL-managed VMS platforms, connecting perimeter thermal detectors, fence vibration sensors, and AI NVR analytics to specific preset positions for automatic camera response. PTZ control is also supported via RS-485 Pelco-D/Pelco-P for legacy joystick console integration.
