A Public Announcement (PA) system is a distributed audio infrastructure that delivers voice messages, emergency broadcasts, background music, and automated announcements to defined zones across a building or campus through loudspeakers controlled by a central management platform. Modern IP-based PA systems transmit audio as digital data packets over the organisation's existing IP network — eliminating the dedicated audio cabling infrastructure that traditional analog PA systems required, and enabling the kind of flexibility, scalability, and integration that analog systems cannot achieve.
