Its open-standard architecture means KNX systems from different manufacturers interoperate seamlessly — protecting your investment against single-vendor dependency. KNX is the preferred protocol for energy-efficient building control in commercial and industrial environments, and it forms the basis of many LEED Gold and LEED Platinum certification strategies because it delivers the occupancy-based, demand-responsive control that earns LEED energy performance credits.

DALI Lighting Control
DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface, IEC 62386) provides individual addressability of every luminaire — precise dimming control, lamp failure detection, and energy monitoring per fixture. DALI is the professional standard for commercial lighting control, used in offices, hospitals, factories, and public buildings worldwide.
Daylight Harvesting
Lux sensors at window-facing positions measure incoming natural light and automatically dim artificial lighting to maintain the target illuminance level at the work surface — delivering 20–40% reduction in lighting energy use in perimeter zones without manual adjustment.
Occupancy-Based HVAC Control
Presence detectors in each zone command the HVAC system to occupied setpoints only when people are present — and return to energy-saving setback mode automatically when zones are vacated. In buildings with variable occupancy (offices, classrooms, meeting rooms), this alone delivers 15–25% HVAC energy reduction.

Automation Requirements Workshop
We facilitate a structured requirements workshop with your design team, project manager, and key stakeholders. For residential projects, we map room-by-room control requirements, lifestyle preferences, and smart home technology experience. For commercial and industrial projects, we analyse energy consumption data, occupancy patterns, HVAC plant specifications, and sustainability certification targets. The output is an automation scope document that defines every system to be controlled and the control logic that governs it.
KNX/Crestron System Design
We produce a complete automation system design: KNX bus topology with bus segment planning, actuator and sensor selection for each function, Crestron control processor and touchpanel placement, DALI lighting control wiring and addressing, blind/curtain actuator specifications, and integration interfaces for HVAC, audio visual, security, and BMS systems. For LEED projects, we define the energy monitoring point list and data logging requirements to support LEED EA Credit calculations.
Supply & Procurement
KNX-certified devices — sensors, actuators, logic modules, and bus couplers — are sourced through authorised KNX-certified distributors. Crestron control processors, touchpanels, and interface modules are procured through Crestron's authorised channel. All devices arrive with KNX certificate of conformity and Crestron product warranty. DALI lighting control gear is procured to IEC 62386 standard.
Installation
Our KNX-certified and Crestron-certified installation teams install and terminate all KNX bus cables (YCYM 2×2×0.8mm twisted pair), DALI wiring, and Crestron control cable throughout the project. KNX bus terminators, power supplies, and line couplers are installed in dedicated KNX panels. All KNX device addresses are physically labeled before installation — simplifying programming and future maintenance.
Programming & Commissioning
KNX programming is performed using ETS 6 (Engineering Tool Software) — the standard KNX programming environment. Group addresses and associations are configured for all automation functions: room control scenes, lighting dimming curves, blind travel times, HVAC setpoint offsets, and energy monitoring data objects. Crestron programming implements touch panel interfaces, scheduled scenes, and integration API calls to third-party systems. Commissioning involves systematic room-by-room testing of every function against the approved automation specification.
Client Demonstration & Handover
We conduct a formal client demonstration, walking through every automation scene and control function. Residential clients receive a personalised smartphone app setup and voice assistant integration. Commercial clients receive operator interface training and an administrator guide covering scene adjustment, schedule modification, and energy report access. You receive ETS project backup files, as-built drawings, device group address lists, and all programming source code.
